About the Ministry
Dr. Dan L. Corse, founder of Looking Unto Jesus Ministries, is available to minister at local churches, conferences, and other related activities. Well-versed in numerous biblical topics and issues related to Christian growth, Dr. Corse has also spent a great deal of time studying and writing related to the Christian worldview that was integral to the founding and development of the United States, one that is often ignored or even denied by secularists and revisionist historians.
Those studies led him to further review the history of revivals/awakenings in the United States and resulted in God revealing to him the Three R’s of Revivals and Awakenings, three characteristics permeating those revivals/awakenings. The first R is Refocusing. Refocusing speaks of laying aside all weights and sin that hinder us, placing our undivided attention upon God (Heb. 12:1-2) and praying. The second R, which stands for Reforming, is imperative as we must alter or discard teachings and practices that help to create or enhance spiritual stagnation or hinder the lost from experiencing conversion (Acts 17:11; 2 Tim. 2:15). The last R is Restoring, the process whereby individual believers and the Church are returned to a place of spiritual health and vigor and the lost are reconciled to God (John 3:3; 1 Pet. 1:23; 2 Cor. 3:18; 2 Pet. 3:18).
Our prayer for all who visit this site is: Father, instill in those who know not Christ as Savior the desire and ability to know Him in that manner; implant in believers the hunger for and provide them with the means for healthy growth in grace; and fully restore Your image in us all, from glory to glory, in Jesus’ name, amen. As you look around our website, please leave prayer requests, comments, or even questions. Feel free to contact us using the "contact" form available on this site. God bless you!
